Two weeks!

Two weeks from today we'll be landing in Lome  - it's so hard to believe that we're that close!

Here's where we're at:

1. God has supplied 100% of our monthly support and in fact, we are now over-supported!  Amazing.  Thank you to all of you who have generously and sacrificially supported us - we are so grateful!

2. We've moved out of our house.  We moved out last Thursday and our renter moved in the next morning.  She is a lovely woman who intends to stay for the full 2 years - what an answer to prayer!

3. We received our travel visas!  We're all good to enter the country.

4. We are living with my parents - bless them! It's not like seven people have moved in with the two of them and totally taken over their entire house or anything. We're so grateful to be able to bunk with them for these 2 weeks and finish up some of the details and errands before we go.

5. Flights are booked and our Robert Q shuttle comes to pick us at my parents house on Monday, November 14th at 11:30 am.  Our flight leaves at 6:35 pm.  We fly to France, then switch planes and head to Niger, where we make a quick stop to drop some folk off, before arriving in Lome.

Things to pray for:

1.  We still have to sell our truck and would so appreciate your prayers about this. Nate has still been needing it for work, so it's been so great to have it but we're trusting God for the right timing in selling it.

2. Final details.  I feel like every time I cross something off my list, I add two more things to it.  There's a lot of little details, from preparing our taxes to last minute purchases, still to be done.  Pray that we would use our time wisely and get these things completed.

Lastly, an invitation!

On Sunday, November 13th at 10:30 am, you are invited to join us at Stoney Creek Baptist Church (located at 2225 Highbury Avenue North) for a commissioning for our family.  We'd love to see you there and say good bye.

The last two weeks have been an whirlwind of activity, packing, working on the house, finalizing details and very little sleeping. Thank you for praying us through these last days here in Canada.
